(More customer reviews)Just purchased this bass guitar from Lightwave Systems via amazon.com and wanted to give a quick review of this instrument. First, the action on this bass is just right and the weight is super light - which will make good for those long gigs. As for the sound: well I can't say enough about how clear this bass sounds. I personally did not want to go full over with the optical pickups, so I opted for the hybrid bass instead. I am considering buying an all optical fretless for the future now that I have heard this thing up close and personal. As a bonus the bass came with a really nice soft case - I wish I would have known this before I bought a hard case - but I guess now I have two cases. My only suggestion would be that they do a better job on the manual; although the bass it not too difficult to use or understand... I basically plugged it in and it can crank out a nice loud, clear, articulate sound. Thanks.
