Takamine EG440C NEX Cutaway Quilt Top Acoustic-Electric - Transparent Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I never purchased a guitar on line before, I always believed that you shoul dbe able to play it first. I still tend to believe that, but I took a risk on this one. I was not dissapointed. The reviews all said that it was a quality instrument, and that is what swayed me. Now I can be included in those that give it glowing recomendations. The only thing I found that I did not like was that there is no front mounting point for a strap.

Takamine EG440SC G Series Acoustic-Electric Guitar w/FREE SKB Hardshell Case and Stand Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I ordered this on a Sunday evening & it arrived the following Wednesday afternoon without expedited shipping! I've tried Martins and Taylors costing much more & the sound of this guitar is one of the nicest I've come across; with a nice rich midrange & plenty of low end. The intonation, sustain & action are awesome. Plugged in with a touch of reverb justifies the extra I paid for the electronics. The onboard tuner is a nice feature too. I'd recommend this guitar to anyone.
Most online sellers charge a minimum of $50.00 more just for the guitar. That's without the hard shell case and stand! I saved a lot buying this through Amazon.

Epiphone Limited Edition Hummingbird Artist Acoustic Guitar Vintage Sunburst Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was really drawn to the Epiphone Hummingbird Artist as an inexpensive, solid-top guitar with vintage appeal. Featuring the shape and styling of the classic Gibson Hummingbird on which it is based, this version includes sharp split-parallelogram fretboard inlays, a bound fretboard and vintage Kluson-style tulip tuners. The solid-top and dreadnought shape lend boomy, deep tones that can surprise you at this price. Despite the absence of the pickguard decor from which the model got its name, the guitar is quite a looker and a value to boot.
But that's where the good stuff ends. Once I got this guy home I was stunned by a horrid buzz while tuning the guitar. Now this wasn't a fret buzz that plagues many cheaply-made guitars but an outright hum coming from those snazzy Kluson-style tuners. The enclosed tuner housing and tuner post rattled against one another in a sympathetic vibrato when the low-E was enthusiastically strummer. The rattle was beyond distracting. It was maddening.
Sadly, this guitar was returned. With quality tuners, it would sure be a steal.

Ibanez A300E VV Ambiance Acoustic/Electric Guitar Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this guitar for my daughter's 16th birthday gift! She is just learning to play but I wanted her to have a really nice guitar to start with and that would last her a while and after researching this one I decided that it was the one! The price is very affordable and being so much below retail price it is SO worth it! I have had several friends and family members that play and they have played it and have loved how it sounds and the quality of the guitar! Therefore...I would have to say that anyone who buys this guitar will not be disappointed!!!

Epiphone Dave Navarro Signature Jane Acoustic Electric Guitar Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am not a guitar expert by any stretch of the imagination but I do like to goof around and play what I can figure out by ear. This guitar sounds bright. I like the built in tuner (battery is included) and have been impressed that it seems to stay in tune rather well - even after my less than stellar attemps at playing. Appreciating the looks of the guitar is subjective but I think it looks really slick. The inlays are done well. The pickguard did have very light scratches on it even though it was covered with a light adhesive protective cover. Not completely easy to see - but they are there. My guess is that they are the result of the manufacturing process. It is packed well from the factory and amazon prime service as usual was great.

Takamine G Series EG463SC NEX Acoustic Electric Guitar, Natural Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have always tried to play Classical Guitar but with little opportunity. I had trouble fingering and pickings too.
A friend recommended a few brand names of acoustic guitars, including Takamine, and upon seeing the Takamine EG463SC it was love at first sight. I am now taking lessons and as a backup using the HOMESPUN.COM videos. It is so much easier. And I am 61 years old.
This instrument is beautiful and sounds so good I drool. Go check one out, you won't go wrong.

Oscar Schmidt OH30SCE Acoustic Electric Guitar, Requinto Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this Oscar Schmidt requinto about 3 months ago and I am very happy that I did. I tune the 6 th string to G and have found that satisfactory for the music I like. The high, almost mandolin sound I get from it compares to what a baby grand piano sound like next to a full sized one. The bridge on the body is very well reenforced and is shaped in a moustache configuration giving it a well made, appealing look. I very happy and satisfied with my purchase.
