(More customer reviews)I somehow managed to buy one of these guitars via Craigslist for $800 (eight-hundred) dollars. I think my lucky stars, fairy godmother, etc, every day for that opportunity. This instrument is incredible. The sound is wonderfully rich and full without being muddy. With a fresh set of Elixirs the guitar sounds like an acoustic you hear on a studio album. Not much of a wonder, either, I've seen touring musicians with 414's. I think Sam Beam of Iron & Wine uses a 614 now, but he used to use one of these (as far as I know).
I didn't pay the listed price for this, and honestly, I couldn't afford to. But if I could, and I was looking for a nice guitar for myself, I would get this one. I've played Martins that cost three times as much and still prefer this.
