(More customer reviews)Long story short is I had the POD HD500 floor model but later returned it. I did not like the floor switch set up too much and found it to be not very usefull to me. So I went back to my very expensive Tube amp. I was kind of tired of lugging my stack to practice then this item came up. Since I played around with the HD500 I was somewhat familiar with the new system of sounds. I have to say I love this unit. I loaded up all the software and got the most insane Tube Like distortion. Now I will be taking this to practice and hooking it to the PA and my keyboard amp. The clean sound is great as well. It's so close to full Tube Distortion it blows me away.
I may be crazy but I think it's much better than the HD500. It's small and more portable.I could care a less about the Loop feature. Get one. It's worth it.
