When My Daisy Rock Guitar arrived, my mind immediately associated the bubble gum / pepto pink color with a toy. I had wanted a real guitar, not a child's instrument.
Well, I got a real guitar and more. After just 5 minutes of haphazard strumming I realized I had gotten my money's worth. This is a quality instrument with great sound. The built-in tuner is a real plus for novices like me. I'll be able to play this guitar for years to come.
I did have concerns about the smaller size - as I'm a 6' tall athlete and women's gear is always too small for me. But the adjustments for women to this guitar are just fantastic.
I'm thrilled with the purchase, LOVE the color, and would recommend this guitar to new and experience players.

(More customer reviews)While there is no way this is going to give you the sound of a good quality dreadnought acoustic that doesn't mean it doesn't sound great. I am blown away by how natural the sound of this guitar is.
This is a much improved version of the old Chet Atkins model. I have both Epiphone models and the SST Studio is head and shoulders above the older model. The new pickups and new preamp make it easy to dial in and get a real acoustic guitar sound.
Now you may ask why purchase this guitar over a regular acoustic like the PR5E which also sound great plugged in. Here are my reasons.
1. No feedback issues. The guitar has no sound hole so you eliminate that issue altogether.
2. small and light. It is much easier to play for an entire gig than my Takamine dreadnought.
3. It sounds better with a band in my opinion. While I would probably not play this for a solo guitar gig I think the brightness of the guitar cuts through much like the sound you hear in Nashville country music. It adds a great acoustic sound to the band.
4. $350 it worth having just for the novelty. We all need another guitar, right?

Epiphone EJ-200 Super Jumbo Acoustic Guitar, Vintage Sunburst Review

(More customer reviews)I hadn't picked up a guitar for 15 years when I decided I wanted to play again. I looked at an Epiphone Hummingbird, but after strumming chords on both, I went with the EJ-200 because of the bigger sound. It's not a particularly nuanced sound, but it booms. I'm never going to be a virtuoso; I'm going to hit chords hard while playing/hanging with friends. The D string on mine buzzes a bit, but that's not a difficult fix. The action is mostly good; it wasn't hard for me to get started playing. The super jumbo body style is more comfortable for me to play, especially while seated, as my arm rests perfectly on the body. If you're a serious player with resources, look at a Gibson SJ-200; otherwise, this is a terrific instrument.

(More customer reviews)This Review is for the Epiphone EJ 200 CE guitar. It is almost a great guitar. It is well worth owning, but there are a couple issues to address. I purchased the guitar for $449 plus tax, total $480. The guitar is alittle over priced. It was made in Indonesia, but I was hoping it was from the China factory because they seem to have better quality control. I read a review that the guitars needed a neck adjustment to lower the action. That was acurate ,and the strings should be replaced with a lighter gauge . That was also acurate. Other than that, it is a great guitar. I know it is a copy of the gibson J 200, but who has 3,000 for a guitar? I've played guitar for over 30 years, I've owned Gibson's and Fenders. This guitar ranks up there with some of the best. I'm happy with my purchase,and have already used the guitar with my church band. I'm hoping to have many years of enjoyment out of this guitar. It is an impressive instrument visually and sound wise. A purchase that was well worth the investment. I have the sunburst model. No regrets buying this guitar. I recommend the Epiphone E jumbo case to keep it safe.
