(More customer reviews)Since the 1970's with the frist effects the Wah Crybaby, MXR's, Boss, Morleys etc that I have owned this unit fits my needs..I can custom make my own effects that are compliant with the sound of any of my amps and all my electric guitars, from Fender to Gibson to cheapies..I like this effect unit the best because it it very verstile, sounds clean, the distortions are incrediable,, the write and rename feature is great,,the abiltiy to level and mix any effect, name and save it is awesome..you get to save up to 30 of your own custom effects, the fact it comes with a working tube to give you the tube amp sound too..unit comes with 30 prefab setups , which all can be changed and renamed,,and you have the ability to reset them to factory settings by executing some push/hold buttons on the unit itself at any time,,the negs are that it is heavy to lug around, I purchased a alum case with padding to protect it..so far this unit has prefomed very well for me..shop around the net, there are lower prices out there with free shipping. I give this unit an A+
