(More customer reviews)I am commenting on an item I recently purchased thru AMAZON.com - an Ovation Doubleneck Guitar. While the price was reasonable and the shipping close to the time-line given, there has been a very serious problem with the electronics of the instrument. The switch that relates to the two different necks is flawed in some way. Sometimes the 12-string necks works and then it shuts down and no signal is heard. The electronics to the 6-string neck works fine, but without the consistent switching needed, I cannot yet begin to depend on the instrument for professional use. It would not work favorably for me to be performing on the instrument and have it just cut-out in the middle of a song. Since I just recently came back off a road trip and haven't yet looked into what Ovation plans to do about the malfunction, I cannot say how satisfied I am at their backing their instrument.
