(More customer reviews)I have owned my Dean Michael Schenker sig V for 3 or 4 years now and I love it. It's my go-to guitar for metal(I use my Strat and Les Paul for more classic and stoner rock). I did put an EMG 81 in the bridge(leaving the passive neck pickup out of the circuit), but I didn't feel like I HAD to... I just wanted to try active pickups. The finish is just fine, the fretboard has no sharp fret ends, neck pocket is tight. I really have no complaints whatsoever about this guitar, especially at the price they're selling em for... no, it's not a 'custom shop' equivalent, but it suits me just fine. I give it a solid 4 stars.
