Well the old mantra proves true once again! You get what you pay for. This case is made of relatively thin plastic; the area around the latches bends as you lock them, so you have to angle it just right or they won't snap shut completely. The worst part? The hinges are on the OUTSIDE of the case, meaning they have no protection if you're sliding your case in and out of vans and cargo trucks; the hinges will be destroyed if truly used by a pro. Unlike SKB's line of more expensive hardcases, there is no gasket to seal the case from dust and moisture (use a dust cover for your synth). Again, the plastic is too thin around the locks and make it difficult to secure. This case was cheaply made, the rivets for the hinges are not all aligned resulting in closing the case being a little weird.
In the end, it's still a "hard" case and cheaper and lighter than a wood and metal tour case and offers far better protection for the keys and body of your synth than a soft case could ever offer. There is only one section of foam on the top lid, unlike the photo in the description.
It's not a bad buy for someone who needs a hard case but only doing light duty AND who's willing to baby their case. Otherwise, save another hundred bucks, lift some weights (or get a roadie), and buy a real tour case. I wouldn't put an expensive work station synth in here unless it was an emergency.
UPDATE: after 3 months of use, the velcro which holds the four adjustable corners has come loose on one of them. An easy fix with some super glue, but nevertheless, this case is not holding up to real gigging use. Still a bargain, but again, you have to be careful when using this case. It's not made for abuse or airline travel.

SKB Roto-ATA 61-Note Keyboard Case with Wheelsand, TSA Locking, Trigger Latches Review

Wanted a decent case for my fantom G and was looking at a wooden case.
Found this one while looking for similar products. And glad I bought it.
The case is super perfect for fantom G 61 keys. fits the keyboard without having to use the extra cushions or pads it comes with. I just need the two pads showed in the picture after placing the keyboard inside.
The wheels are smooth and strong. No visible damage after dragging them even in and out of sidewalks and stuff.
Great case.

SKB Trap X2 Drum Hardware Case with Built-in Cymbal Vault Review

SKB Trap X2 Drum Hardware Case with Built-in Cymbal Vault
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was very excited to get the TPX2 case but very quickly found that it has a major flaw.
First however, The Good:
-it is a brilliant idea to include cymbal vault on the side of the case - this worked flawlessly.
-i like the carpeted area for the snare
-the wheels are good quality and are lockable
and now, The Bad:
-your hi-hat and cymbal stands will NOT fit in the hardware section!! I suppose I should have understood that this is "a scaled-down trap case" (SKB's description) but because it loads vertically, and your cymbal stands are vertical, the "lift-off hardware tray" will NOT fit. In fact even if you don't use the lift-off tray, where one would presumably put a kick pedal or a stick bag, the closing lid will definitely not fit because most crash stands are too tall! Unless you're putting snare/tom stands in the hardware section you absolutely cannot fit your cymbal stands, even when taking them apart. When I discovered this I laughed out loud and said "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME."
I'm returning the TPX2 in favor of the TPX1.

Wow, I've ordered a lot of stuff off Amazon over the last year and this is definatly one of the best purchases so far. Solid construction, good size, exactly as advertised...and god damned cheap to boot :oPthanks so much for this wonderful product.... Gotta say it arrived a hell of a lot faster than I expected too. A great purchase I fully recommend if you need a case for your digital keyboard especially when traveling. 10/10

SKB Laptop/4U Rack with two step handle and wheels Review

SKB Laptop/4U Rack with two step handle and wheels
Average Reviews:

We bought this unit for a 15 gig tour which required travel on 4 continents. The case was made ok and looks good enough. It's acceptable for light gear, but I would never leave my laptop inside it while traveling. Here were the problems that I found with it. There are only a set of front rails, even though the unit is symetrical, a set of back rails would have been useful for mounting power supplies. The rails are only fixed to the unit by means of rivets into the plastic This has caused an issue where one side of the plastic is tearing away and the entire rail with rivets ripped out of the case. This is why I said that it's only good for light equipment. The could have made an entire metal cage inside the case which would have kept everything secure and square. The unit is good with the lid which is useful for extra cables and non-rackable equipment to be stored for travel though the plastic base has also warped downwards in this section, not sure if it's due to stress on the case or packing but I generally don't squish too much into that area. This unit was the only 4U case that I could find with built-in wheels and handle, as well as TSA approved and fit on normal flights (not as over-sized luggage) which is a big plus. Also I can transport the unit alone without help or assistance. Other slight desing flaws include the front panels that do not allow for much clearance so generally you can't leave anything plugged in to front mounting equipment when it's packed up. The plastic used doesn't seem as tough as that used for Peli-cases. Also the little feet mounted on the front broke off on the first flight and the screws that were there to hold them in were sheered off shortly after. They would be wise to mold in the rest feet to the top case piece instead of using those cheap plastic pieces.
I think that SKB could improve this product and they could make a killing in the market since there is nothing else like this. It's a bit sad that after one year on tour the unit will have to be replaced.

SKB Trap X1 Large Drum Hardware Case, with Internal Tray and Wheels Review

SKB Trap X1 Large Drum Hardware Case, with Internal Tray and Wheels
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
In general this is a quality case, works well enough for my purposes. I have a 5 piece kit, and all of the drum hardware, plus my seat and stick bag fit inside. Don't even have to break down my hi hat stand, which is nice. The internal tray is handy for auxiliary percussion storage.
However, I've used it for a few weeks, about 5 gigs, and already the rubber bumpers on the bottom of the case have broken off. Not a huge deal, but for this kind of cash I'd expect them to last longer. Also, I've had to make a repair/replacement of one of the inside straps. The clasp is quite cheap (plastic), and broke the first time I used it. Replaced it with a metal one from my previous case, which has worked fine.

SKB Injection molded Strat/TeleFlight Case - TSA Latches, w/wheels Review

SKB Injection molded Strat/TeleFlight Case - TSA Latches, w/wheels
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This case would survive a fall from ORBIT! Seriously, this is a well built case designed to carry Fender Strat style guitars under most any traveling conditions. I was impressed with all of the built-in features. This is the most rugged travel case I could find on the internet without being constructed of solid metal or weighing a ridiculous amount. The description is spot-on. Even the wheels are bolted on to prevent loss or breakage. The small accessory pocket holds my electronic metronome, electronic tuner, 2 sets of strings, string winder and strap with room to spare. The hinged lid on the accessory compartment could use a small strap with velcro to keep it closed, but it's of small concern considering the fit and finish of the overall case. My Cort M200 fits with extra room in the head area. The neck isn't supported the entire length, but two layers of bubble wrap fit the bill and the strings still aren't tight against the lid. The price is a bit on the high end. In the future, I might consider looking into a tactical weapon case, at a lower price, in the same dimensions, to save some money. Overall, I would recommend this case, as the best protection for traveling with a high-end guitar.

SKB PS45 Deluxe Pedalboard with Hard Case Review

SKB PS45 Deluxe Pedalboard with Hard Case
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
In my opinion SKB's PS45 is the best case out there before you start getting into custom solutions. ESPECIALLY for the Amazon price (20 cheaper than the online music retailers and free shipping which is uncommon for this item too)! Furman power strip is great too offering both protection and as many plugins as you'll need for the pedal space provided. The only reason I would upgrade from this pedal board would be if I run out of pedal space. Even then not all is lost, as the furman strip detaches from the skb case. So I'll be able to use the furman strip in an ATA case if necessary.
