The problem? It's a complete piece of ##&#! The manufacturing quality is unacceptable. I purchased this for a professional application (a live music venue). I assume a certain level of quality with a professional piece of equipment and this simply doesn't have it.
At first, the CD player worked fine.. but the USB reader didn't work. I sent it back to the factory. The good news is that the factory customer service guys were very helpful. I paid for shipping, and they "fixed it".
...but when I got it back, it still didn't work. I sent it back and this time they paid for shipping. They sent me a brand new unit.
Everything worked fine on the new unit for about a month. Now the CD player doesn't read disks. Seriously. There is no way that this thing is built to last. I'm probably not going to even bother sending it back to them... and will instead go purchase another rack mounted cd player for my application.
It's worth noting that I'm using this in a system with clean power (dedicated circuit and even a power conditioner). I don't have issues with any of my other gear. (including my old CD player that I was replacing simply because I wanted an extra aux input and USB reader)
Bottom line - don't buy it.
